It is important to note that School, Skatepark, and Warehouse are not the maps from previous titles.

KNOWN CONTROLS:
R2 - Push (No idea how Mongo is supposed to work.)
L2 - Brake (No real reason for this...)
L1 - Use Special Blue Line power-up. (Blue Line = special meter, you trigger special / the blue line this way.)
Triangle / Y - Plummet towards the ground (not grind.)

- Skating Switch functions as a 10% score boost.
- Total Run Score shown in top left.
- Special Meter right below Run Score.
- Balance meter red on edges, transparent in middle.
- Trick string shown under skater in white, except last trick shown in yellow.
- Current score and combo score shown in bottom right.
- Combo letters are blue.

I'm starting to feel like it's everyone else that's so upset (that Robomodo is indeed making the next game). I'm excited, just like I was excited for THPSHD, and even if it's a trash let-down, which it probably will be, it's a next gen TH game. At least we didn't see a plastic skateboard sitting on the ground next to the projector... THPSHD, even with it's shitty physics, was a baby-step in the right direction in restoring the original concept of the series.

(and to be entirely honest, they were just trying to make THPS like guitar hero, and it was probably an idea they were pushed to develop, and even though as a skateboarding controller it did suck major testies, the snowboarding feature on one of the titles was kind of fun.) I did trash both titles and the controller within a week though, and quit playing THPSHD within a week and a half.

All that aside, I thought the THPS community would at least want to know who was making the game for sure, and then this little gem of proof that I was right.

More than that even, as I see other community members reaching out to Robomodo trying to get them to take some advice, at least we now know that the President / Co-founder of Robomodo at least read my tweet about what I want.

well, just your posts are so 1st person.
the thing is Neversoft was the team truly devoted to skateboarding. by the third game all of them were skating.
what is robomodo? a team of random people who like to develop mobile apps. they don't give a damn about the game. it's just bussiness.
i know it's activision fault within the series, but robomodo is the name behind it and after the certain amount of fails they'll be just disbanded. it's not a big deal for activison as we've seen with nevesoft.

btw it doesn't look like they use ritafurey for the logo.

I can understand that.

I did tweet at them something totally specific about that, in response to THPSHD being the #4 game in the marketplace, to which I responded something along the lines of:

'It's #4 because of the history of the series. Don't forget your roots. Watch Neversoft's videos on THPS3!'

Which was indeed me referring to the videos of the Neversoft staff skating themselves, and the kickflip challenge, etc.

I know that Neversoft was the shit at THPS, and that nothing Robomodo pushes out will be as perfect as what Neversoft did, but the Robomodo team and Josh Tsui are extremely experienced. Josh Tsui was a 'cheat code' character in NBA JAM on PS1, the face of Sub-Zero in MK2 (literally used his face), Liu Kang in MK4 (used his face again), and has been working on games since waaayyyy back. He worked on 8 Mortal Kombat games, Wolfenstein, America's Army, and many more. They have the money and the talent to produce something amazing, just take a look at the pics of their office, and even though we see THPSHD as this immense failure of a game, it still is #4 in the marketplace.

Also, Josh Tsui did totally skate when he was a kid:

This is their second chance to make a decent THPS, because I don't even consider the bs with the plastic skateboards to be THPS games, because they simply just weren't. Maybe they'll make one we can enjoy as a community. It is a very real possibility, just like we all thought THPSHD could have been good since they were scrapping the plastic boards.

As for the logo, I didn't even really create it. Icebears4ever did, and then I stretched the top to look more like the 5 they used. If you want to be true in recreating the logo, the text should be orange as well. It's merely me taking the easy route, by just editing Icebears version. On top of that, the logo looks stupid anyways lol.

While the proof you've provided seems to add up, its quite a bit of analyzing over such small things. Personally I would rather just wait the two months until I can read the eventual press release, something doesn't sit right with me on scrutinizing people's Instagrams.

obviously same engine as in thpshd. obviously same tasteless level designers. if it were levels that saved the hd ripoff, I honestly don't understand how they intend to sell a reskin that seems to use their older environment. am i the only one who sees school 2 and warehouse on screenshots?

also they added projectiles and powerups, but duh, I thought it's not underground 3...

logo is not really that important after all. but it ain't cool indeed.

They said a couple levels are influenced by warehouse, school2 and hanger.
If you look at the photos (things could change by release date) you see that a lot of the objects aren't the same. The buildings seem to be in the same locations though.
